Classified Advertising FAQs How do I Add A Photo? Photos can be added to your listing AFTER the Ad has been placed. 1 image can be uploaded for free, images must be under 90000 Bytes or smaller to be uploaded. Monitors typically display data at 72 dpi (dots per inch). Therefore, it is recommended that you upload your images at 72 dpi. Reducing the dpi will allow you to upload a larger item. Always resize your image in your graphics software before uploading to our site. How long will my Ad stay on your site? The duration of your Ad it completely up to you. Ads can be placed for the duration of 1 day up until 1 year. Once the selected duration has passed the item must be relisted. Can I edit my Ad once it has been placed? Yes, ads can be edited. To edit an ad, login to your account & select "My Classifieds", click "edit" under the Ad you wish to edit. I would like to extend the duration of my Ad. If you would like to extend your ad, this can be done through your account. Ads can be extended for up to another 365 days. All ads that incur fees will be recharged for the extended duration. Buy It Now Listings Buy it now can be added to your Ad. Advertisers must have a PayPal Account in order to do this. For more information on PayPal click here. Advertisers are responsible for removing their listings once the item is no longer for sale, ads can be deleted by logging in to your account. Select the option, "My Classifieds", select "Delete" under the desired classifieds title, your Ad will be deleted. Alternatively you may contact us and we will delete your ad for you. Once Ads are deleted, they are removed from our system and can not be relisted. Will my identity be kept private? The information you send use will be kept private. Buyers will be able to contact you through email only. Buyers can contact you by clicking on the "Contact Seller" icon on the Classified listing. Your email address is not displayed. Emails can be viewed in your account under "Messages", an email will also be sent to your email client., i.e. Outlook Express. And Finally!!! Scams There are always a few dishonest people operating in the market who work to leave both buyers and sellers out of pocket. If it seems too good to be true, then it probably is! Refunds All adverts are taken in good faith, once a paid for advert has been accepted by us it is non refundable unless there are extenuating circumstances. Once an item has been sold it is possible to delete the booking, however no part refunds are given. Account Credits are non refundable and are to be used for posting Ads on this website only. |
